This course will help you:

  • Understand why you are the best advocate for your child
  • Identify the information needed to develop a complete file of your child's history
  • Determine your family's current need for services and project possible future needs
  • Recognize resources available to your child and eligibility requirements.
  • Match your child and family's needs with available resources
  • Develop ways for communicating with the individuals and agencies providing services to your child
